TECH Tip — Got someone harassing you on your cell?, calling all hours of the day, week after week? Instead of being bothered with hanging up the call.. do this if it’s not a hidden number; ‘Save’ their number to your Contacts, call it ‘Ignore-01’ (-02, -03 for each different number). Now, edit the Ringer for that number and set to “No Ring”. Now, when they call you won’t even be bothered to see who it is. Goodbye telemarketers, ex’s, stalkers, etc.
To browse the internet without a search engine knowing who you are or where you’ve been.. begin your browsing by typing the URL at http://www.Anonymouse.org/ . It is free to use, but you will get a pop-up every time you change pages, but for a small fee you can browse anonymously without the pop-up. (Search engines normally keep your search results for up to a year and a half and identify you by IP address.)
